About the Artist

Stephanie Frost

I was raised a Catholic, but I did what a lot of people do and I left the church to figure out my faith.  It took me about 15 years of searching, but I was gently guided by the Holy Spirit and led to sources that taught me more about the Bible.  It was only then that I really felt at peace in my belief that Jesus is my Lord, the Son of God, and His death was the sacrifice needed to pay for my sins and to reconcile me to God.  I began to see how connected the Catholic Church really was to the Bible; how the traditions of Mass and the Church were rooted in Old and New Testament truths.  Now I feel comfortable in the Catholic faith.

One of the practices of being Catholic that I began to understand more recently is the rosary.  I believe it is a special vehicle of prayer and communion with God.  It is a weapon against sin and despair.  I felt compelled to make them!  Even as a child I was fascinated by rosaries and now I am blessed by God to have the opportunity to design and make them for others.

I strive to create a variety of designs because I want to attract a whole variety of people to the rosary.  I want people to love their rosary because it is beautiful to them and connects with them personally.  I want them to want to pray the rosary.  When I design a rosary, I am not interested in mass production, but more in the combination of beads and findings which create a design that is both functional and beautiful.  This results in unique rosaries suited to a multitude of styles and tastes.

Thank you, God, for this opportunity to make your rosaries!

Not only am I blessed with the opportunity to create rosaries, but I design earrings, too - some of my most favorite jewelry accessory!

Plus, I am currently fascinated with crochet and developing new handmade bags and pouches to put into my Etsy shop.

I also love working with indigo dye and hope to add more hand dyed fabric items to my Etsy shop too!

Thank you for your interest and support of my path to use God's talents to create beautiful things for you!
